We hear those words often. If only I had started saving sooner, had saved more, had spent less, had not bought that house…you fill in the blank. Those two words are the motivation for the Foundation’s new and exciting project – the 3rd Decade!
This program makes available to young adults in their 3rd Decade (ages 21-35) the education and advice needed to build their knowledge, skills and confidence and, ultimately, their financial security.
In April, we’ll kick off the 3rd Decade program with 20 participants that fit this general description:
- 21-35 years old
- Household income is between $35,000 and $100,000
- Hold a bachelors, associate or vocational degree
- Rent or own their home
- Working fulltime
- Are ready to manage debt and start a financial plan
- Can commit to a two-year program in Tucson which will require attendance at quarterly classes and two meetings a year with a financial planner
There is no cost to participate. In fact, because this is a serious two-year commitment, we are offering an incentive to participate.
We’d like to turn the tide. Good decisions made in the 3rd Decade of our lives make achieving long-term financial security so much easier. If you are in your 3rd Decade (or know someone who is) and would be interested in participating, please visit our website, www.tci-foundation.org, and complete our application by March 1st. We look forward to meeting with you!
Instead of saying if only in our 40’s and 50’s, let’s start today!
