3rd Decade® and our partners (“we,” “us” or “3rd Decade”) are a leading provider of free financial education for participants and/or prospective participants whose personal information 3rd Decade collects to conduct its business. Sources and Categories of Personal Information We Collect When you establish a relationship with us, you are requested to furnish personal and financial information to assist in assessing your financial objectives and goals. During the course of our relationship we may also collect a variety of personal information that may directly or indirectly identify you, including non-public personal information from other sources such as accountants, legal counsel, financial advisers, insurance agents, banking institutions, brokerage firms and others. The specific types of personal information we collect can include: name, telephone, address, date of birth, marital status, e-mail address, employment and banking information.

3rd Decade staff and mentors do not collect Social Security Numbers.

How is your Personal Information Used?

We will only use your personal information for the purpose of providing you with our mentoring services, we may use your personal information to: • conduct business processing functions which may including providing personal information to our related bodies corporate, contractors, service providers or other third parties; • assist with the administrative, marketing (including direct marketing), planning, product or service development, quality control or research purposes of 3rd Decade and its contractors and service providers; • communicate with you and respond to your inquiries; • conduct investigations and comply with and enforce applicable legal requirements, relevant industry standards, contractual obligations and our policies and terms; • for other purposes required or authorized by law, including other purposes for which you have provided your consent; • protect against identity theft and prevent fraud, copyright infringement, unauthorized use and distribution of protected content and other unlawful activity, claims and liabilities; and/or • perform data analyses (such as market and customer research). In addition to the above, we use personal information to comply with applicable legal requirements, carry out our contractual obligations and pursue our legitimate interests (such as managing our client relationships). Where required by applicable law, we obtain consent to process personal information. In the event that we use personal information we collect for other purposes not identified above where direct client consent is required under applicable rules, laws and/or regulations we will provide specific notice at the time we collect such personal information.

Disclosure of Your Personal Information to Third Parties

It is the policy of 3rd Decade to restrict access to all current and former participants’ information to those employees and affiliated/non-affiliated entities who need to know that information in order to provide products or services in furtherance of the participants’s engagement of 3rd Decade. In that regard, 3rd Decade may disclose the participants’s information: • as required to do so by judicial or regulatory process; or • as otherwise permitted to do so in accordance with the parameters of applicable federal and/or state privacy regulations. The disclosure of information contained in any document completed by the participant for processing and/or transmittal by 3RD DECADE to facilitate the commencement/continuation/termination of a business relationship between the participant and/or between 3RD DECADE and a nonaffiliated third party service provider (i.e., adviser) including, but not limited to, information contained in any document completed and/or executed by 3RD DECADE or the participant in furtherance of the client’s engagement of 3RD DECADE (i.e., mentoring agreement, participant information form, etc.), shall be deemed as having been automatically authorized by the client with respect to the corresponding nonaffiliated third party service provider. Specifically, 3RD DECADE permits only authorized employees and affiliates who have signed a copy of 3RD DECADE‘s privacy policy, including this Notice, to have access to participant information. Employees violating 3RD DECADE‘s privacy policy will be subject to 3RD DECADE‘s disciplinary process. If we provide personal information to a third party with which we have a business relationship, we will have the third party execute a signed non-disclosure agreement, and/or this Notice and/or our Privacy Policy, and/or otherwise ensure that they will keep such information confidential, consistent with the conduct of our business relationship. 3RD DECADE does not share your personal information with other financial companies or our affiliates or non-affiliates for marketing purposes.

Individual Rights

To the extent permitted by the applicable law of your jurisdiction, in relation to your personal information, you may request: • to have your personal information corrected, for example, if it is incomplete or incorrect; • to opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time; • the right to file a complaint with an applicable government regulator such as a Data Protection Authority.

3RD DECADE continually updates and improves security standards and procedures to guard against anyone gaining unauthorized access to your Information, including through the Internet. 3RD DECADE maintains appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable legal standards to protect its participants’ personal information.

Retention and Processing of Personal Information

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we retain your personal information for the period necessary to serve the purposes for which we obtained it. We may also retain your personal information beyond such period in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, or another lawful basis, including but not limited to, compliance with our contractual obligations, legal obligations, regulatory obligations, legal claims, or another legitimate interest.

Our Commitment

We want to assure you that we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of your personal information. The safeguarding of particpant information is an issue we take seriously; whenever information is used, it is done with discretion. We have developed these privacy policies to protect our participants. These policies are for general guidance and do not constitute a contract or create legal rights and do not modify or amend any agreement we have with our participants.

COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Site includes:

Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, and telephone number, and demographic information, such as your age, gender, hometown, and interests, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Site or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Site, such as online chat and message boards. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however, your refusal to do so may prevent you from using certain features of the Site.

Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site.

Financial Data

Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g. valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from the Site. We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our payment processor, Paya, and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

Facebook Permissions

The Site may by default access your Facebook basic account information, including your name, email, gender, birthday, current city, and profile picture URL, as well as other information that you choose to make public. Data From Social Networks

User information from social networking sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, including your name, your social network username, location, gender, birth date, email address, profile picture, and public data for contacts, if you connect your account to such social networks.

Mobile Device Data

Device information, such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, and information about the location of your device, if you access the Site from a mobile device.

Third-Party Data

Information from third parties, such as personal information or network friends, if you connect your account to the third party and grant the Site permission to access this information.

Data From Contests, Giveaways, and Surveys

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Site, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on the Site.
