T.J. currently serves as Associate General Counsel at Vitalant, the nation’s largest independent nonprofit blood services company. As the former Chief of Staff for Supervisor Bill Gates at Maricopa County, T.J. supported the leadership of the fifth largest county in the U.S., developing and setting policy that contributed to making Maricopa County the best place to live, work and play in Arizona. T.J. graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with degrees in Philosophy, Politics, Economics & Law (PPEL) and Religious Studies, before graduating magna cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at ASU. He is active in the Phoenix community serving on several boards including the Young Lawyers’ Division of the Maricopa County Bar Association, serving as the Vice Chair of the Maricopa County Planning & Zoning Commission, and as Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Directors for the Greater Phoenix Chamber Valley Young Professionals.
