Jeff Locke CFP® is an Advisor at AWM Capital and has worked as a financial planner/advisor since 2019. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics at UCLA and was a 4-year starter on the football team. Drafted into the NFL in 2013, Jeff spent 4 years as the starting punter for the Minnesota Vikings and continued his career for 2 more years with the Colts, Lions, and 49ers. He spent time in two off-seasons interning with Dimensional Fund Advisors and a venture capital firm.

Get to Know Jeff

What is a social cause you feel passionately about, and why is it meaningful to you? I am extremely passionate about financial education and empowerment. This started in college when I would help my teammates budget and has been a driving force behind what I do professionally and in my work with 3rd Decade for years. I believe that everyone deserves unbiased financial education, without any strings attached.
What is a book or film that changed your life? A book that changed my life is Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. It made me question everything I thought I knew about the history of our species and why we behave the way we do.
Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them. We have two rescue dogs, Zoe and Bella. Zoe is a small mix breed that loves to nap and cuddle. Bella is an aussie doodle with infinite energy and desire for anything somewhat edible. We treat them like our children!
