Jacquelyne is currently a Project Manager for the Office of Economic Initiatives at the City of Tucson. Her work is focused on Business Retention and Expansion, and Economic and Workforce Development in order to foster a long-term sustainable and diverse local economy. Before this position, Jacquelyne worked as Lead Budget Analyst for the City focusing on the creation of the annual City budget. Before joining the City of Tucson, Jacquelyne worked for The University of Arizona for several years in different areas, mainly in international relations. Her work involved creating partnerships with international institutions and creating partners abroad for international education programs. Jacquelyne is an active member of the community, she is passionate about personal finance education to empower people to achieve their financial goals. Jacquelyne holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from The University of Arizona. She speaks four languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, and American Sign Language), which she uses to connect with people from different backgrounds. Outside of work, Jacquelyne enjoys exploring Tucson and the surrounding areas. She has a mini schnauzer named Mozart, and they spend a lot of time together hiking and running. Additionally, Jacquelyne loves to travel, she has traveled to fifty-eight countries so far. Jacquelyne likes to stay busy but values the time spent with family and friends, as well.

My pet is...

Mozart, he is a mini schnauzer. Mozart is a very active dog. We spend a lot of time outside hiking and running. He loves to play fetch and to eat canned tuna.
