Passionate About...
Budgeting Investing Outside of Retirement Purchase a Home

I’ve spent over a decade in real estate investing/financial modeling, primarily working with institutional investors, and have a passion for all things personal finance—whether it’s budgeting, investing, or helping others make sense of their money. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, I’ve called Winston-Salem, NC home for the past three years. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me on a hiking trail, watching NASCAR or Formula One, or cheering on Arizona State University football. My wife, Holly, and I share our home with two dogs, Lou and Pepper, and our cat, Finn.

What is a social cause you feel passionately about, and why is it meaningful to you? I care deeply about affordable housing. Through my work in real estate investment, I’ve seen both the challenges and the opportunities in addressing the country’s growing housing shortage. Having a stable, safe place to live is the foundation for so many aspects of life—education, health, financial security—and yet it's out of reach for too many people. I believe the real estate industry has a responsibility to be part of the solution, and I’m passionate about finding ways to create and support more accessible housing options in our communities.
Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them. We have three rescue animals who definitely keep things interesting! Lou and Pepper are our two cattle dog mixes. Lou is very much a dog’s dog, always ready to play and socialize, while Pepper is our resident cuddlebug and never shy about demanding attention. Our black cat, Finn, is more mysterious as he prefers lurking in the shadows and watching the world from a distance, but he completes our little crew perfectly.
