Passionate About...
Entrepreneurship / Small Business, Student Loans Retirement Plans (Traditional) Under/Unbanked

I am a financial counselor at Earn to Learn working with students to achieve their financial goals and afford college with little to no student loan debt. I am passionate about financial wellness, and love to see people overcome financial challenges and build a healthy relationship with money!

I have a master’s degree in Financial Planning and Financial Therapy and I strongly believe in the intersection of financial wellness and mental health. I like to take a holistic approach when working with clients, looking at financial wellness, the intersection of money and mental health, and the broader socioeconomic systems that shape individual and community outcomes.

Before financial counseling, I worked with economic development agencies to support underserved small business owners. I come from a family of entrepreneurs, and love to see people pursue their passions!

I recently moved to San Diego, CA with my partner and our two dogs, Ollie and Buffalo. When I’m not working with students, I’m enjoying the great outdoors – hiking, snorkeling, paddle boarding or tide pooling.

What is a social cause you feel passionately about, and why is it meaningful to you? I am passionate about women's financial wellness.
Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them. Yes! I have two dogs, Ollie and Buffalo. Ollie is a 4y/o Rottie Sheppard mix, and he is a great guard dog and cuddly pup! Buffalo is a medium size, very round dog (not sure what type) and always has one ear up and one down - soooo cute! They love to play at the dog park and cuddle :)
