Passionate About...
Budgeting Debt Management Retirement Plans

I have been working within the financial planning industry for about 5 years. For the first couple of years, I specialized in working with young medical professionals balancing high student debt and forming a secure financial future. Even though I now work with a broader array of clients, this initial view into the struggles of today’s Millennial and Gen X professionals shaped much of my approach to financial planning.

On a personal note, I am originally from Florida, but have called NYC my home since 2021. In my free time, I love to explore NYC and travel abroad with my fiancé.

What is a social cause you feel passionately about, and why is it meaningful to you? I feel very strongly about equal opportunities for education. I grew up in a low-income household, and was fortunate that my parents valued education. Because of their sacrifices and the scholarships offered to me, I was able to have a quality education. However, those avenues are not always open to everyone.
What is a book or film that changed your life? The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman. These principles have given me a better understanding of effective communication, not just with my partner, but colleagues and clients, too.
Would you like to share a short quote about the impact you hope to make by volunteering for 3rd Decade? I hope to provide quality financial guidance to those who may not otherwise have this resource.
