Passionate About...
Budgeting Investing Outside of Retirement

Megan works at Goldman Sachs providing financial advice, investment research, and sales solutions to financial advisors across the country. She believes financial literacy should be widely available to individuals in all careers, not just finance jobs! Megan has seen the impact that a few tips & tricks can have on personal savings and budgeting, and she hopes to empower others to reach financial freedom. Outside of work, you can find Megan running on the Chicago lakefront, reading a mystery novel, or cooking new dishes for her friends.

Get to Know Megan

What is a social cause you feel passionately about, and why is it meaningful to you? In addition to financial literacy, I care about sustainability and studied it in college. I grew up spending time in nature, visiting National/State Parks, and camping with my family. I hope our environment can be protected for future generations.
What is a book or film that changed your life? Wintering by Katherine May. Reading this book during a cold, dark Chicago winter changed my perspective on how to process through difficult seasons rather than fight against them.
What is something unique you'd like us to know about you? Every year I host a "clothing swap party" with my friends in the spring. It's a great way to clean out your closet before summer and get some new clothes for free!
