Maria is excited to join the 3rd Decade team as Development Manager. As a 3rd Decade alumna, she brings both professional experience and a personal connection to the mission. For 17 years, she has worked across Arizona’s nonprofit sector. She is passionate about building partnerships that strengthen organizational impact and sustainability. Her academic background includes studies in sociology, psychology and a doctorate in educational leadership, all of which inform her deep belief in the power of mentorship, education, and transformative programming which creates lasting change. Outside of work, Maria can be found spending time with her family outdoors, reading, or working on her latest writing project.
