I’m a candidate for CFP (R) certification. With a background in mathematics and over a decade working in healthcare data analysis and data science, I want to take my knowledge of numbers and do something that will directly improve people’s lives. Your 20s and 30s can be such a powerful time in your financial life, and if you get yourself on a solid foundation, you can have compound returns working for you.

I live in the Washington DC area with my husband, four sons, and two rescue dogs. I spend my mornings rowing on the Anacostia River and can often be found in the Shenandoah mountains or Monongahela National Forest.

What is something unique you'd like us to know about you? I hold a number of world records in indoor rowing and rowed in a women's masters 8+ boat that set a course record at Head of the Charles. I found rowing at the age of 37 as I was recovering from a running injury, and my path has really underscored that it's never too late to explore new things.
