Hi, I’m David, and I am a financial planner at Strategic Financial Planning in Plano, Texas. I’m passionate about making personal finance un-scary and engaging, and one of my goals is to un-taboo-ify money talk. When I’m not nerding out about personal finance, I enjoy music (I’m a former school band director), exercise, and cooking anything with turmeric and cumin. My happy place is toting my daughters around in the bike trailer to parks and playgrounds with my wife. Because most of my days are spent at the computer, I prioritize tending my small vegetable garden and observing the changing seasons in the converted native Blackland Prairie in my backyard, as a reminder that the land is not a commodity that we own, but a community to which we belong.
