Passionate About...
Budgeting Debt Management Purchase a Home

Hi there! My name is Ariel. I’m 28 years old and I’ve been interested in personal finance for more than 10 years. I’m currently taking classes with Chico State to get my Certified Financial Planning license. I worked as a mortgage loan officer at Wells Fargo for over 5 years and now work as a Certified Debt Specialist for Accredited Debt Relief. I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona in Nutrition Science with minors in psychology and business marketing. I purchased my first home at 24 years old and consider investing and personal finance to be a passion. I’ve been doing pro-bono financial coaching for a few years on my own and I am excited to partner with 3rd Decade.

Outside the finance world, you can find me playing tennis, spending time outdoors with friends and family, solo traveling, going to country music concerts and trying new foods. I am so excited to help the others and share my knowledge of finance!

What is a social cause you feel passionately about, and why is it meaningful to you? Helping women learn about finances! My mom was a teacher and a single mom. We struggled to make it when I was young and she really showed me the importance of having a strong work ethic. She worked 2 jobs for many years to ensure I had everything I needed. Too often, women don't receive the financial education they need end up in situations that can be really hard to escape. I love to educate and empower women to take control of their finances and set themselves up for long-term financial security.
What is something unique you'd like us to know about you? I am an only child by blood but I have a step sister and 3 brothers that were adopted.
Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them. I have a 9 and a half year old rescue pup named Cadence. I got her my sophomore year of college at 8 weeks old. We've quite literally grown up together and since I don't have kids, she is my parent's favorite grand-dog!
